Obtaining an investor’s mortgage loan is not always easy and can be much more difficult than obtaining a mortgage loan for a primary residence. Many times there are more rules involved and higher interest rates for investor mortgages.
When looking to obtain an investor’s mortgage you can expect to pay a much higher down payment than if you were obtaining a normal home mortgage. In most cases you will have to put down at least 20%. You will also need great credit to convince a lender to grant you an investor’s mortgage.
